About Us

The Didsbury Museum allows you to journey back through the rich history of Didsbury’s first pioneers from its first settlement (1894) through its role in the coming of the railroad, the Dominion Land Survey, area land rush and immigration. Step into the original two-storey brick and sand-stone Schoolhouse, built in 1907.   A magnificently constructed and preserved building.   The Schoolhouse was a place where the children gathered to learn and socialize; a temporary hospital during the influenza epidemic of 1918, and a training area for men and women during World War 11.

Wander through the School Room, the Railroad room, the Homestead Room and the Chapel.  Or peruse the superb photographic collection of original farmsteads, local businesses and families.

There is so much to see and do at the Didsbury Museum.
